I want to congratulate T.A.G. member Alissa on her Voice of Democracy win! Not only did Alissa win the local scholarship competition, but she has also won on the state level. She will be traveling to Washington D.C. in March for the national competition. We will certainly be rooting for her on that adventure. Of course, just the trip to D.C. sounds like a wonderful time.
Also, congrats to Damon Anderson for making student of the week this week. I just wish his time with T.A.G. had been mentioned in the article! He is always a lively member and willing helper, I'm glad he shares some of his busy life with us as well as all his other activities.
The Ketchikan Public Library is truly lucky to have great teens - and all the T.A.G. members are great - willing to be part of our library.
