Today members of T.A.G. are at the library helping patrons learn to use the new iBistro system. After more than a decade the library has upgraded from a DOS based system to a Windows based one. Though we have offered a reasonably new web browser for years, we have now completely upgraded our systems and no longer offer the "black and green" screens at the library.
It is so wonderful that we have T.A.G. members willing to not only help our patrons, but also help us - as we work (slowly) with folks at the desk, we don't have to worry about patrons using the searching terminals because we know that T.A.G. members are there to help them.
The next T.A.G. meeting is tomorrow and we have a full agenda, as always and one of the items will be thanking the group that turned out today to help. T.A.G. folks are wonderful!
